Michael McTernan appointed CEO

Michael McTernan has become CEO of Rapid Mobile, effective 23rd November 2009. Richard Eyre, Chairman, confirming the appointment, said that Michael McTernan brings renewed energy and commitment to the company at a time when the market is turning towards mobile.
"I am very excited to take up this post as we go into 2010," McTernan said. "All the projections point to much wider adoption of mobile data services and that growth in mobile advertising will start to realise its promise."
Founder and CTO, Dr Richard M Marshall welcomed the appointment. "I'm looking forward to supporting Michael as CEO as we bring our unique proposition of mobile reach to a growing market."
